The more heat you apply, the darker result you will get. Don’t have a heat tool? You can also use a torch, an open flame, or even stick it in an oven heated to a temperature higher than 300 degrees Farenheit. Hold the heat tool about 6″ from the surface of your project, and make sure to keep it moving as you go, rather than holding it it one spot for too long.
